Dear Colleagues and Friends

It is my great pleasure to welcome you to the 11th BBBB International Conference.
The meeting, will be held in Siófok, Hungary by the Lake Balaton, about 128 kilometres (78 miles) from the Liszt Ferenc International Airport in Budapest. The BBBB (Balaton Bled Baltic Bosporus) conferences have a long-standing tradition of fostering scientific exchanges across the Eastern axis of Europe from Baltic Sea to Bosporus. These gatherings have enhanced the co-operations between pharmaceutical scientists, clinicians, industry experts and regulatory professionals. An interdisciplinary spirit remains at the core of our mission.

Our conference theme “Smarter Medicine – Better Care” echoes that pharmaceutical innovation must translate into improved patient outcomes. Our conference motto “From Innovation to Therapy: Science, Quality, and Patient Care in the Pharmaceutical Sciences” highlights that advances in research, technology and data science must be integrated into clinical practice.

The scientific program covers the full spectrum of modern pharmaceutical sciences: drug discovery, pharmaceutical chemistry, advanced formulation technologies, clinical and hospital pharmacy, real-world data, digital health, artificial intelligence and data-driven clinical research.
This time we place particular emphasis on precision medicine, patient-centred dosage forms, sustainable manufacturing, and the safe and effective translation of innovation into pharmacotherapy. We intend to maintain the high scientific standards that have characterised the BBBB conferences since their inception. We are truly committed to providing a strong platform for early-career researchers, too.

I look forward to seeing you in Siófok for what I hope will be an inspiring and forward-looking scientific meeting. I also encourage you to submit the abstract of your presentation.
