The Scientific Committee invites colleagues to submit both oral and poster presentations at the congress. When submitting your abstract, please indicate which type of presentation you would prefer. Depending on the submitted abstracts and the topics, the Scientific Committee will decide whether the presentation will be accepted as an oral or as a poster presentation.

The Scientific Committee invites colleagues to submit presentations and poster presentations related to the topics listed below:

Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Pharmacology

This topic focuses on the discovery and development of small molecules and biopharmaceuticals, including the identification of novel drug targets and innovative drug candidates. Emphasis is placed on identification of novel targets, drug repurposing, advanced therapeutics, green chemistry, pharmacognosy, biotechnology, and AI-driven drug development and toxicology prediction as efficient and sustainable routes to therapeutic innovation.

Pharmaceutical Technology and Drug Delivery

This area addresses how advanced formulation science translates chemical and biological discoveries into effective therapies. Topics include preformulation, particle engineering, nano- and amorphous systems, advanced crystallization techniques, alternative and vaccine delivery approaches, and climatic stability challenges. Special attention is given to vaccines, pulmonary delivery, veterinary medicines, user-friendly oral dosage forms, and medical devices, highlighting the need for patient-centered and application-oriented pharmaceutical design. Emerging fields such as precision pharmaceutics, 3D printing technologies, sustainable and continuous manufacturing, virtual formulation development, and AI-assisted digital twins underscore the growing role of data integration and digitalization in modern pharmaceutical technology.

Clinical and Hospital Pharmacy

Clinical and hospital pharmacy emphasizes the safe, effective, and individualized use of medicines in real healthcare settings. Key areas include therapeutic drug monitoring, pharmacogenomics, pharmacovigilance, and the integration of clinical trial data with real-world evidence. This topic reflects the commitment of the conference to personalized and precision medicine, ensuring that pharmaceutical innovation leads to measurable improvements in patient outcomes.

New Directions in Clinical Research

This topic highlights the transformation of clinical research through real-world evidence, data-driven methodologies, and digital health technologies. AI-assisted trial design and monitoring, along with integrated health data sources, enable more adaptive, efficient, and patient-relevant studies. The focus is on therapy optimization and outcome-based evaluation, supporting a shift from protocol-driven research toward learning healthcare systems.

Pharmaceutical Analytics and Modeling

Pharmaceutical analytics and modeling provide the quantitative foundation for quality, safety, and efficacy throughout the drug lifecycle. Core themes include the analysis of contaminants and impurities, in vitro dissolution and permeation evaluation, process analytical technology (PAT), biorecognition systems, and metabolism modeling. These tools are essential for understanding complex pharmaceutical systems and for supporting data-driven decision-making in both development and clinical application.

Industrial Pharmacy

Industrial pharmacy addresses the translation of scientific innovation into scalable, regulated, and globally accessible pharmaceutical products. Topics include market and innovation trends, safety and efficacy considerations, packaging and logistics, and regulatory affairs and compliance. The balance between globalization, decentralization and localization reflects the need to maintain international quality standards, while responding to local healthcare, regulatory, and sustainability requirements.

Abstract submission deadline:

April 15, 2026

GUIDANCE FOR PREPARATION OF E-POSTER PRESENTATION

E-posters can be prepared by any presentation editing (e.g. Microsoft PowerPoint, Apple Keynote) or graphical (e.g. CorelDraw, Adobe PhotoShop) application that can save or export to PDF file.

Please use the following settings for the best performance:

  1. Poster size: Width: 72 cm (28.35″); Height: 128 cm (50.5″)
  2. For better readability san-serif fonts(e.g. Arial, Calibri, Helvetica, Lucida, Verdana) with a minimum of 24 point size should be used. Figures, tables and graphs should be as large as possible.
There is an option of incorporating short videos in your poster. For this purpose use MS PowerPoint, embed your video, set the video to start immediately and repeat infinitely.
  3. For best compatibility save or export your poster as a PDF file (Use save or export option instead of print to PDF to avoid white printer margins in the PDF file). PPT files are also accepted but might not presents identically ot he e-poster screen due to compatibility issues. Inserting figures, graphs and tables as images rather than in their native file format is suggested in this case. Use the following file name system: bbbb-’surename (family name) of the presenting author’ – ’firstname of the presenting author’ – ’numbering as 1, 2, 3…if you present more posters’ e.g. bbbb-smith-john-1. In case of presenting videos in your poster name the video files similarly as your poster and add – video-’numbering’. bbbb-smith-john-1-video -1. In this case provide the original PPTX file and the video files instead of PDF file.
  4. Poster files should be sent by e-mail ot he Conference Office (abstract@bbbb2026.org) until September 14, 2026.
